継承Inheritance
Earth is a rare planet that satisfies the four conditions for life to exist: oceans, magnetic field, oxygen, and ozone layer.
The “life form” inherited from 3.8 billion years ago has been mutating and fostering, and life has been passed down through the generations.
We humans, born only 5 million years ago, stand at the top of the ecosystem and are foolishly about to cause the first great human extinction.
The dark blue color reflects our hope that we will respect our responsibility to inherit life and nurture a spirit of compassion for nature and other living creatures.
It is also the color of the sea, the sky, and the earth’s most important resources.
探究Inquiry
After World War II, humans, placing too much importance on economic development, destroyed the environment and ecosystems to the point where natural recovery was impossible.
To restore the ecosystem, we humans, as homo sapiens, Latin for “smart humans”, the only uniquely intelligent species, must learn and act.
The “respect for beautiful things,” which other creatures may not have, also fosters compassion for nature and others.
Through our own experiences, we focus on unknown things and explore them widely and deeply.
These are the colors that we hope will foster a spirit of curiosity.
This sophisticated new color between gray and beige is perhaps the most special of all earth colors.
It is also the color of the earth, the starting point of the food chain.
The goal of halting and restoring biodiversity loss by 2030, agreed upon at the G7 Summit in June 2021.
In order to fulfill the international commitment to conserve and protect at least 30% of the world’s land and sea areas (30 by 30), Japan has also been emphasizing the conservation of ecosystem of OECM, Other Effective area-based Conservation Measures.
Biodiversity and Climate Change are the Two Big Pillars of the SDGs.
In recent years, detailed indicators for carbon neutrality have been established and the movement of countries has accelerated, and companies in Japan are also moving toward 2050.
However, biodiversity conservation is still in the process of developing specific indicators, and only few companies have incorporated nature positivity into their management indicators.
Those who own CLASS EARTH items are the ones who have opened the door to contribute to Nature Positive.
We are working on organizing regular parties and preparing a membership-based salon as platforms for information exchange and networking to incorporate biodiversity recovery into the economy and society.
