The exhibition will feature CLASS EARTH emblem T-shirts featuring the world’s endangered species selected for the one-star award.
In addition, the “kengo Bonsai Gallery,” a bonsai art gallery managed by CLASS EARTH, will be on display.

About 「kengo Bonsai Gallery」

It was exhibited at an art fair held at the Louvre Museum in France this spring and will be exhibited at art fairs around the world, including Dubai, in 2024.
This will be the first time the exhibition will be open to the public in Japan.

“Bonsai” is a culture that originated in Japan.
Bonsai, also known as a microcosm, can live up to 1,000 years in a pot.
It is also an art form that requires human care in order to survive for such a long period of time. In the days of war and in the days of disasters, valuable bonsai have been protected and nurtured by human beings.
It is an art that has been created in symbiosis between humans and nature since ancient times.

The artist has also long suffered from schizophrenia and developmental disabilities (ADHD, learning disabilities, etc.).His symptoms are now under control with the help of medical care.

In an age when diversity is so important as in the LGBTQ+ movement, I find it strange that works by people with disabilities are lumped together as “art for people with disabilities”.

Many artists, due to the nature of their brains, have a high level of spatial awareness, a good sense of sound, and other abilities that are considered inevitable.
Historically speaking, those with an uneven balance of abilities are not a minority in the artist profession. In fact, I believe they are even the majority.

We will transmit Japanese culture through art and pursue what true inclusive art is.
